Hi guys, today I wanted to try something different. Usually I draw female characters and that is because I for one prefer the bitchy vibes and pose in the references I turn to art. Today though I wanted to try something different and went with a War Chieftain. Anytime I see an Orc or the similitude of their race my mind flashes back to my ex who is a big fan of the WOW franchise. Oftentimes he speaks of honour and how related it is to their culture.
Having found the Chieftain and drawing him the little way I could, I decided to also edit the image in a different light and add some hue to pop out the Green.
The editing was in two phases and I eventually picked the one I liked best.
A lot of thought was put into this yet I still feel it is incomplete. I do hope it catches your eye and that you can see what I intend even though it’s this way.
For this wonderful buildup I used different shades of colour; green, red, orange, brown, black, blue and wine.
