The Beer Challenge

in #proofofbrain8 days ago

There was once a beer drinking challenge in my town. And the best person who could drink the highest or the largest amount of beer goes on with some amount of money, which is not even a big thing, is not even in the ranks of millions, neither is it in billions.

So I don't know why it is worth it for people. To do such a thing is just in the realm of few thousands of the currency we are in, but these people decide to have themselves drunk to stupor and one actually accidentally passed out and never woke up.It was a very terrible thing, but it was funny.

Because how could you have entered the challenge knowing fully well that your health is at risk and you what you tend to gain from winning the challenge is just few thousand of naira that cannot even feed you for a week and your entire family.

Then you decide to risk your life, the future of your children being fatherless and everything altogether at once into one single, just few thousands of the currency that we have around just because we want to prove to the whole world that you can drink the highest amount of beer and then.Past doubts and never wake up again. What kind of a tricky, foolish way to live and die is that?

Why would someone even go as far as doing that to hurt him or herself? I have heard and seen so many challenges that people do all around these days and they are just baseless. You will see that. The reason you are risking everything is just as small as you can think of it to be.

I mean, if you know if you want to risk your life, risk your life because you want to become a billionaire or a trillionaire, then the risk will be worth it or something that you see that will be valuable for you at the long run.I'm not risking your life for just $10 or risking your life for just $20. Why would someone even do such a foolish, risky thing to start with? The man died, left wife and children to fend for themselves and I don't know how those children will even be feeling as years goes by whenever. Remember that your father died while on a beer challenge for just an amount that is not up to $10.
