In my defense, the month of August was a roller coaster of colors and emotions, but as I said in a previous post, the heat never left me. Such are the climatic conditions in Cuba!
Right now my photo gallery is a complete mess, so I'm not able to look back properly... What I can guarantee is that I had unforgettable experiences.
August has been the month in which I have been forced to become aware of my responsibilities now that I am of legal age. I had to start taking care of my own legal procedures, which is scary, especially if it's the first time you're facing this kind of process alone. I built up courage and was able to overcome these small challenges.
I also went through an abrupt "makeover" process. I stopped showing off my curly hair to stay with a cut similar to that of a private 😂. This shocked a lot of my friends, and I think everyone has had to adapt to this. I think that the physique does not affect the personality, and the hair grows gradually, so the idea of cutting it so low seemed interesting to me.
There are many experiences that took place in this month. I concentrated so much on living them and being present that I have lagged behind sharing them on my blog, but I assure you that when they arrive they will make a good impact, so wait for them patiently. I will only mention a date with a friend in which we were mistaken for a couple, a summer camp in which I had the opportunity to participate, a radio show dedicated to an interview they did with me and more... much more.
I met many people who changed my perception of the world around me, and thanks to them I have begun to believe in things in which I had lost faith. I am grateful for this experience.

Tuve que comenzar a hacerme cargo de mis propios trámites legales, lo cual resulta aterrador, sobre todo si es la primera vez que te enfrentas a este tipo de procesos solo. Me armé de coraje y pude superar estos pequeños desafíos.
También pasé por un proceso brusco de "cambio de look". Dejé de lucir mis cabellos rizos para quedarme con un corte similar al de un soldado raso 😂. Esto le impactó a muchos de mis amigos, y creo que todos han tenido que adaptarse a esto. Yo pienso que el físico no afecta a la personalidad, y el cabello crece paulatinamente, así que me parecía interesante la idea de cortarlo tan bajo.
Hay muchas experiencias que tuvieron lugar en este mes. Me concentré tanto en vivirlas y estar presente que me he quedado rezagado de compartirlas en mi blog, pero les aseguro que cuando lleguen van a causar un buen impacto, así que esperenlas pacientemente. Solo mencionaré una cita con una amiga en la que nos confundieron con una pareja, un campamento de verano en el que tuve la oportunidad de participar, un programa de radio dedicado a una entrevista que me hicieron y más... mucho más.
Conocí a muchas personas que cambiaron mi percepción del mundo a mi alrededor, y gracias a ellas he comenzado a creer en cosas en las que había perdido la fé. Estoy agradecido por esta experiencia.
Además, la mejor noticia del mes fue que cumplí un año en Hive.
