For the first time in Santa Clara (eng-esp)

in #hive-1637722 months ago

For a long time a great wish we had in the Vox Lucis Choir was to be able to participate in the Santa Clara Canta International Choir Festival, and finally we were able to complete that dream.

Santa Clara received us with a lot of freshness, however she almost didn't let us breathe. The day of our arrival we were full of activities, and so has been the rest due to the festival program. Even so, we have taken advantage of small occasions to get to know this prestigious city of Cuba.

Something that really struck us was the Vidal Park, which is located in the center of the city. It is structured as a roundabout and, as is typical in colonial cities founded by Spain in the sixteenth century, it is surrounded by its own architecture of the time that is still preserved and that impresses all visitors.

We have also tried to visit some bars, but we have faced a reality different from our expectations. While we are adapted to the hustle and bustle, in Santa Clara people prefer the calm. While we prefer to dance to the music, the inhabitants of the city prefer to enjoy it sitting accompanied by a drink.

Anyway we are still very excited about this trip and we are very happy to be able to meet new spaces.

I hope you have enjoyed this post. All the photos used were taken with my phone, an Oukitel C31.

Until next time!
