Hi fellow Hiveians,

Today I'm excited to head towards a yearly Leo premium instead of monthly..

Yearly Not Monthly

Have you had something show up you weren't expecting, but ended up getting pretty excited about?!

The Leo team brings it back with another really cool and exciting proposition: a yearly Premium membership!

I've been really interested in the Leo premium membership for a while, and I did purchase it a few times but there are a number of logistical issues for me. I cash out as much HBD as I can for Hive to then power it up, so I am very frequently not saving any HBD at all. Then I would forget when I would need to buy my Leo Premium membership again after it expired.. it was a hassle, but not that bad in the grand scheme of things.

I knew I wanted to renew my Leo premium membership, but the question was always... when? I for sure needed to wait until post scheduling worked again, because that is such an important aspect of my post flow and style. I wasn't going to spend much time on Leo if I couldn't schedule posts. I feel bad about that, but at the same time I don't. I don't have a considerable amount of free time in my life, so when I am able to write, I write but I also write a few things and get them scheduled so I can do others on the days off. I never go a day without being on Hive, but scheduling the posts makes my life so much easier.

With the return of post scheduling, I then proceeded to use Leo again and schedule some stuff. That has been a really welcome and great change, because I've got a number of finance related posts in the queue that were waiting. I know Leo has branched out and expanded to general content which is fine, but I tend to stick to the original concept and style so I go with the finance stuff.

Now that I can schedule my posts, I was interested in getting a Premium membership again, but I was dreading the renewal process.. I am not the best at remembering exactly when to do things, and would forget to renew it or would just not have the funds to renew it at the time. Thankfully the Leo team introduced a YEARLY membership option!! Fucking sweet that's for sure!

It is more expensive than the monthly one up front which is okay. It is 100 HBD for a year, which is a discount of 20 HBD if you were to pay it monthly. The extra discount is a bonus for me, considering that I want to produce a decent amount of Leo content but at the same time, not worry about having to keep myself on task with maintaining the Premium membership. I am hoping that in early January I will have enough HBD saved up to renew the thing and then get a full year of membership!

This is definitely the much better option for me, for many reasons. I know that the yearly membership is going to reduce the annoyance on myself for having to remember to renew my membership, so that's certainly a plus. Then I can produce Leo content with the added bonus of potentially getting a Leo vote as well! Not a bad way to do it, I think!

What about you, have you considered a Leo premium membership? Did you see the addition of yearly memberships? Would you do a year over a month? Let me know in the comments!

Yearly Leo premium subscription, this is wise and profitable. Wishing you luck on it

Thanks yeah it's going to be worth the money!

Yearly premium membership makes sense.

But one would think that it would be a subscription based process, one that is automated and doesn't require you to consciously make the payment every time it expires.

Yeah I know automated would help but that is also a little difficult.. unless it can be set up to withdraw 1 HBD every few days or something as most people don't have 10 or 100 HBD sitting around.

Hmm not too familiar with the Leo side of stuff, what's the benefits from paying the membership?

You get some perks like getting better access to votes from the Leo voter account that's got a few million HP delegated to it. There's some other silly ones like higher character limit on threads or things like that. I don't care about that as much lol

I see, thanks for the share!

I think it's difficult to always have in mind that renewal of a subscription when there was actually other important things that'll make you not think about it, so wanting to renew for one year is very good. Although it's expensive to do bulk subscription I think you just buy yourself enough time without having to think of the hassle of renewing, and you get 20% HBD off

Yeah for sure. I pay extra money for convenience all the time! Getting a yearly subscription for the convenience is for sure worth it for me.
