It's that day of the year when our Christian friends celebrate the festival they love the most and it's the Christmas as it is 25th of December!!
The day is the birth day of Lord Jesus Christ and it also signifies the new year for Christians all over the world with billions of people celebrate this festival today.
People will perform cultural activities, will buy gifts, will prepare different types of cakes and culinary which they like the most and it is in total, a day for worshiping, having fun and gift to others.
We can't forget the Black Friday sales and other activities which are performed before the Christmas Day i.e. 25th December and gifting and buying gifts as well as favorite items signifies the Black Friday sales and purchases as there will be huge discounts during that week period or so.

When we remember about Christianity here in India, we remember the service of the Christians thru various schools and colleges and we have many Christian friends who use to share the plum cakes they prepare during Christmas and those days of schooling and colleges days are the best as we use to mingle with friends from all religions and share whatever we use to prepare during those festival days.
As I mentioned, here in India Christianity is more popular because of the educational service they provide and we do have a college named after Reverend Ferdinand Kittel who is regarded as the father of English to Kannada dictionary as he is the One who created dictionary for English words in Kannada and it's always nice to know that a person who comes from a different country and creates a dictionary for our local language by learning it and understanding it and speaking in that language, isn't it great?
Yes, we do have many such great scholars who contributed to many Indian languages.
Not just the education, but also we have many from different country but contributed to Indian dams, engineering works and many more and I think it's more fitting to remember those guys during this Christmas and pay tribute to those selfless people who spent their time to benefit all of us with their works.
We should respect the religions and try to grasp the good things from different religions and Christianity is not just about worshiping Jesus Christ, it's about spreading love, spreading about the culture and their works and I am happy to have known those friends who were just like me yet from different religion but we never had any such differentiation.
