Splinterlands community engagement challenge these days are totally different and gives an opportunity to write about different topics and every week, we will have a new topic about splinterlands.

The community engagement challenge this week is about the tutorials and topics about different topics such as deck building, battle strategy, earning rewards or managing the collection or navigating in-game economy.

I would like to write about building a battle strategy for one of the rulesets we have in splinterlands.

The ruleset i am writing about is the reverse speed ruleset in which, the monsters with lowest speed will attack first, so this is totally reverse of what the normal battle will be like monsters with highest speed get to attack first.

Reverse speed:

As explained above, this is the ruleset which encourages us or rather, requires us to use the monsters with lower speeds as the battle ruleset will allow the monsters monsters with lowest speed among all monsters to attack first.

Normally, i use earth splinter more for this ruleset as we have many chaos legion monsters with less speed including the tank healer magic monster of goblin psychic and those fits according to this ruleset.

Battle and Lineup:

The battle i am sharing to demonstrate the reverse speed ruleset is the one i am sharing below which had a mana cap of just 28 and also had little league ruleset along with up to eleven ruleset which provides amplify ability to all the monsters used in the battle.

As i mentioned above, earth splinter is my favorite when it comes to reverse speed battles and that too in the little league, we have so many magic monsters with 1 speed and those will win you the battle most of the times and here i am sharing the lineup.

Lineup:

1. Xenith monk:

This is not a monster with 1 or 2 or 3 speed but it is a monster with healing ability and hence, i used it in the front position as we expect magic monsters to be used by opponent too and this monster with void and magic reflect, is best suited to tackle magic monsters.

2. Venari spellsmith:

I used this in second position because of it's redemption ability, where, it gets to reduce the health of monsters on other side by 1and in little league battles, we might see monsters with less health and with this redemption, we might actually see a monster or 2 getting removed which are with 1 health.

3. Madcap magus:

This is the monster i normally use even in normal battles as this monster is with leech ability to leech health from monster it attacks and it can attack in a scattered way targeting any monster on the other side and it also has affliction ability to stop the healing from the monster it attacks.

4. Queen mycelia:

I normally don't use this monster much because it has just 1 magic attack, but it reverse speed battles, i use this to build those armors it provides and also utilize it's 1 magic attack.

5. Spirit hoarder:

Spirit hoarder is a monster which is mainly used to keep healing monsters on second line as this is with triage ability and it can also dispel the additional ability a monster might have got.

6. Djinn biljka:

Djinn biljka is the last monster in my lineup sitting it slot 6 and this monster is with camouflage ability, has 1 speed and also has void ability to take less attack from magic monsters.

This monster gives 2 useful magic attack and can not take much damage due to void ability.

So, that was all about the battle i wanted to share as part of the reverse speed strategy and i shared the battle link just before the lineup and hope that, you find it useful when you battle next time with reverse speed ruleset.

The battle was almost like one sided as the planned to use 2 melee, 2 magic and 1 ranged attack monster but both the magic monsters were with 1 attack and couldn't attack the xenith monk as it is with void ability and the 2 monsters attacked, kept on losing health because of magic reflect and the 2 magic monsters got removed early and other monsters i used, took care of opponent's xentih monk and other monsters and battle ended soon.

I always feel, the magic monsters from earth splinter are the best when it comes to reverse speed with little league battles.

Thanks and i hope you got some information on the reverse speed ruleset and find this strategy useful.
