I'm back after 2 days away from my computer and I'm picking things up with the cup match tonight between Genk and Brugge where I do have a pre-game position.
Genk vs Club Brugge
This is the 2nd leg of the Semi-Final where Brugge win the first one with a 2-1 score at home 3 weeks ago. It was a match where Brugge took the initiative but where Genk scored the 1st goal against Play while Brugge still scored the 1-1 before HT. In theory, Club Brugge has enough with a draw and I don't expect them to the initiative away from home as they tend to be a team who are comfortable to control a match. They have their full squad available and are expected to start with the A-Squad. Overall I see Club Brugge as the superior team and the only real reasons that Genk is ahead of them in the standings is because they don't have the load of European Football. I expect a match where Genk takes the initiative without too much risk at the start as there are 90 minutes and Brugge controlling the match and trying to be dangerous when there is space. I by default like Club Brugge in the 1st half line as they systematically start matches quite good to afterward control things instead of pushing which at times loses them points. I took an early bet of 0.4 units on
Club Brugge 1H +0 @ 1.805 while forgetting that this is actually the 2nd match. I do expect a rather cautious 1st half and a more open end of the match as Genk needs to score at least 1. I also took 0.15 Units on
1H Under 1 @ 2.250
