This season I'm starting early as I have been watching some of the Friendly matches and taking some bets on them while the Supercup also was also played.
The Tone Has been Set!
So a couple weeks ago, the odds were released on the Club Brugge Super Cup match which at the time made no sense whatsoever to me as the trackrecord of the home team in this match is insane while it was set for Union to lose most of their key players again while they also had another Coach. At that time, I already knew this match would set the tone for the season in that either it would be that there were going to be more 'obvious' spots where bookies are way off or if it's going to be a big grind again where any time a weird line is available you need to get crazy paranoid.
So with Union winning the match (not undeserved at all) it looks like the grind is on again and I really need to further improve my overall quality of betting.
Crypto Bets vs Main Sportmarket Bets
As Crypto bookies had odds available way before the asians, I increased my stakes on those quite a bit (~650$) so it's actually possible to get some considerable stakes in on them and I did reduce my main bet on Sportmarket to just 0.2 units because of it (and also the limits). It was quite tricky as I actually wanted to hedge partially but the 0.2 unit bet on Sportmarket wasn't big enough to do so while odds on the other side were not ones I would take on the crypto books, so I just opted to ride it out and take the variance as there still was good closing line value.
As always, I share nearly everything I bet at the moment I take them on the SBC Discord and I will keep doing so as long as possible.
Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2024-2025
So I started the year with a loser on one of the highligled bets but plenty more to come and with the last 4 seasons included I'm still at +47.669 units profit counting them at 1 unit flat stakes. I'm quite sure there will be at least a couple pre-game bets in week 1 and I'm looking forward to see how they will play out.

Playoffs 2024-2025 Personal Betting Chart
So I started off with a tiny -0.046 unit loss on the 10 bets I had in total. I did only get 0.860 units volume in but aim to get this up toward at least 6 units the coming week and if possible 8 to 10 units but I doubt that I will get there. I'm kind of mixed between going at it with increased stakes but at the same time don't want to end up like last season where bigger stakes at the start got me to -8 units and had me grind my way up again with much smaller stakes. So I will see how it goes and move accordingly.
