There are 2 matches tonight of Belgian Teams and I have some bets in one of them so I'm also making a brief preview.
Cercle Brugge vs Kilmarnock
The match last week ended in a 1-1 draw with both goals coming in the 2nd half. The match was a real battle, which is more the case for Cercle matches, which tend to produce not the highest scoring matches. A similar match type is expected today and both teams see the chances as somewhat even. Sub-top teams from Belgium who managed to get Europe League qualifiers don't tend to that easily reach the next rounds. There are 3000+ away fans who made the trip while Cercle who plays in the station of Club Brugge will be with 6k-9k fans leaving the station more than half empty and the home advantage somewhat limited. Cercle lost their first league match against Westerlo with 3-0 and it looks like possible transfers play in the head of players like Denkey. I expect the match to start out as a battle and not too many risks taken showing a more equal picture compared to the +1.25 handicap line and less open compared to the 3 total. Kilarnock +1.25 @ 1.809 along with 0.2 units on
1H Under 1.25 @ 1.832 and 0.1 unit on
Under 3 @ 1.867 all with an eye to possibly trade of or reduce exposure in-game.
Vikingur vs AA Gent
Based on last week where AA Gent won with 4-1, Vikingur more or less represents a 3rd division team from Belgium and Gent is near sure to be qualified. Their coach will use this match to give Benched players some play time but he wants his team to still take it seriously. So it will all be about getting a good result without picking up injuries or unneeded fatigue. The extent how much will be rotated is not really known yet aside from Schmidt who for sure will be in the goal. In the end, AA Gent should be too good and take the win but I'm not going to take them as the big away favorite given the circumstances. They also from last weekend are without De Sart which is something that the will feel going forward as he was their best player.
