Soulkeep Dillution
With the release of Soulkeep last week, there was an indirect increase in Supply as right now it's mainly Splinterlands players who are also playing that game. So with a somewhat fixed money supply amongst these players, it is likely that some of the flows will direct toward the new shiny thing. I would not be surprised to see some of the Splinterlands cards drop further in price in the coming weeks along with SPS as 33k+ now is given out daily to Soulkeep players with no immediate dynamics to offset this one way or another.
The idea is that over time, Soulkeep would bring more players into the Splinterlands ecosystem which I can see happening as the Tower Defense Game is quite fun actually. I opened 10 packs I had from the pre-sale to give the game a test and bought 8 more along with the 1 overpowered Quad Killer tower which makes a world of difference. I paid 10$ for it while getting the packs each below 1.5$.
I'm not sure though if I want to play into the Pay2Win Dynamics as it looks like it's one of those games where they never come to an end similar to Splinterlands while bots likely are better at finding proper solutions to play best. So I will play some more Soulkeep in the coming weeks and see where that takes me.
Weclome To The Family New Max Level Cards
I continued to accumulate cards and SPS in the past week bringing in a bit of outside money for the SPS while by now mostly depleting my HBD savings for the cards.
Summoners
I did get 3 more summoners with the Kelya Frendul which I paid around 7$ for to upgrade from Level 6. I'm not using it that often but at times it does come in really handy. One of the Summoners that I missed at Max Level is the Daria Dragonscale and I also made the pugh up. I cant' say it's the Summoner that I have most wins with but I do really enjoy playing it. It also works really well for decks that are full of sneak attack monsters. I also Maxed 1 more Soulbound Reward Summoner with the Lob Lowland this now puts me at 4/6 at max level from those.
This right now I have enough tools to make a proper choice with 16 Maxed level summoners and have my eye on just a couple more of the Chaos Legion Legendary Summoners in case they would drop more.
Premium Cards!
These are what I consider premium cards that I will be using more often and are also a bit more expensive. The Silvershield Assassin is a sneak powerhouse at max level where it gets +1 Melee attack which makes all the difference. The Naga Windmaster is a card I use almost always when there is the game rule where only Ranged attack monsters can be used. Having it at level 8 gives it the poison ability plus 1 extra health and 1 extra speed which makes it quite a bit more powerful. The Shadow Presence is a card I already liked as Death is one of the best options to play when there is low mana available. it getting the Inspire ability really makes it a ton more powerful and I look forward to use it more often. Finally the Warrior of Peace I also consider a premium card at MAX Level as it decreases all attack by 1 while having enough health and speed allowing it to pick up Weapons Training attack.
All of these used to be Reward cards and I got a good shared of them but not enough to get them at max level.
Chaos Legion Cards
Due to the oversupply, these are very cheap and they are even bought up just to be burned to get the DEC. This mechanic is somewhat of a failsafe in Splinterlands as over time the total capitulation will reduce the supply to the point where prices should start going up again.

Diemonshark: This card tends to work well with the Kelya and the Flying Squid but I rarely use it as I most of the time have other options I prefer.
Flying Squid: The Blind ability is quite useful on this one along with the higher speed.
Chaos Agent: This is one of the cards that I tend to lose a lot to as it feels impossible to hit often and I feel the odds have been crazy stacked against me. I'm hoping to use it more often myself getting a similar effect to the opponent. It also is dirt cheap.
Disintegrator: The big ability this one has is the Demoralize but all other benefits for having it at max level (+1 Melee Damage / Trample / Retalliation) make it quite good in game rules where Melee can attack from every position.
Other Cards
I also maxed 1 more Epic Soulbound Reward card in the Evelyn Auvera which gives the inspire ability extra at max level.
SPS Accumulation
I did transfer the SPS I had on BNB by selling it, sending it to Binance, converting it to hive, withdrawing to hive, depositing to Hive-engine, buying SPS, transferring it into the game. This also showcases how much of a hassle it is to get this coin.
This along with some SPS of my alt account that I transferred over now has got me at 242k SPS Staked and I will continue to cost-average more in case the price would continue to go down. My Multiplier now is a x8.79 with an average expected 641 Glits earnings each macth.
Conclusion!
I do expect somewhat of a money frow from Splinterlands to Soulkeep which might get the prices down a bit more even. I do still believe there will come a reversal at some point in time and I still very much enjoy playing the game. This is why I continue to cost-average my way into it.
