Hello friends, how are you?
This past weekend, I took some time off to be with my family. Being with the people you love is great and we have to make the most of every moment we build together with them.
On Saturday the traditional June festival took place at my youngest son's school. This event, as the name suggests, takes place every year in June, but as the school was undergoing several renovations (and it's not over yet), the party had to be postponed and that's why it now takes place at the end of August.
Despite celebrating an out-of-season party, it was really cool and many people were dressed in character with hats and leather boots.
In addition to typical foods such as corn cake, tamale, hot dog, sweet apple, sweet popcorn and much more delicious things. Just the price of some foods were a little more expensive hahaha... There were auctions for some things like cake, roast chicken, but I didn't participate in any, as I hadn't taken that much money.
The highlight of the party is undoubtedly the dances that the students participate in. They are very lively and fun.

There was also the traditional "quadrilha". In my opinion, the more people participate, the better. It's really cool to see many couples dancing and doing the choreography perfectly. The students worked hard and gave a great performance in all the dances.

This year, my son danced again and the curious thing is that he is very shy, but after seeing his performance. I thought he did really well hahaha... You needed to see what it was like back in the day. That's why I was very happy that he dedicated himself.

Looking at all these presentations, I remembered the time when I, as a child, was also dancing square dance. It's funny how time passes and today I'm honoring my son in doing what I used to do.
That's why, as I said before, we need to make the most of every moment with the people we love. It's great to dedicate time to our family.

Nesse final de semana que passou, tirei um bom tempo para estar junto com minha família. Está junto das pessoas que você ama é muito bom e temos que aproveitar ao máximo cada momento que construímos juntos com eles.
No sábado aconteceu a tradicional festa junina na escola do meu filho mais novo. Esse evento como até o nome sugere, acontece todos os anos em junho, mas como a escola estava passando por diversas reformas (e ainda não acabou), a festa teve que ser adiada e é por isso que aconteceu agora no final de agosto.
Apesar de comemorar uma festa fora de época, foi bem legal e muitas pessoas andaram vestidas a caráter com chapéu e bota de couro.
Além de comidas típicas como bolo de milho, pamonha, cachorro quente, maçã do amor, pipoca doce e muito mais coisas bem gostosas. Só apenas o preço em algumas comidas estavam um pouco mais caro hahaha... Houve leilões de algumas coisas como bolo, frango assado, mas eu não participei de nenhum, pois não tinha levado tanto dinheiro.
O ponto alto da festa sem dúvidas são as danças que os estudantes participam. São muito bem animadas e divertidas.
Teve também a tradicional "quadrilha". As quadrilhas na minha opinião, quanto mais pessoas participam, melhor. É muito legal ver muitos casais dançando e fazendo as coreografias perfeitamente. Os alunos se dedicaram bastante e fizeram uma ótima apresentação em todas as danças.
Neste ano, o meu filho dançou novamente e o curioso é que ele é bem tímido, mas após ver sua apresentação. Achei até que ele foi muito bem hahaha... Vocês precisavam ver como era antigamente. Por isso fiquei bem feliz por ele ter se dedicado.
Olhando todas essas apresentações, me veio a memória do meu tempo em que eu quando criança, estava lá também dançando quadrilha. É engraçado como o tempo passa e hoje estou prestigiando meu filho em fazer o que eu fazia antigamente.
É por isso que como eu havia dito antes, precisamos aproveitar ao máximo cada momento junto com as pessoas que amamos. É muito bom dedicar um tempo para nossa família.
