What is happening with Flamengo is something very unusual in Brazilian football. Michael Fora da Libertadores
O número não para de crescer no departamento médico. Na última partida contra o Bahia, pela Copa do Brasil, Michael e De La Cruz se lesionaram e o curioso é que os dois tiveram uma lesão no músculo posterior da coxa direita. O mais preocupante foi o caso de Michael, recém chegado ao clube.
Infelizmente isso é uma perda enorme e em sua reestreia tinha feito até um gol e deu um pouco de esperança para a torcida, mas o jogador deverá ficar no departamento médico por pelo menos uns dois meses e não irá participar das quartas de final da Liberta. O caso do De La Cruz é menos preocupante, no máximo duas semanas ou três semanas ele voltará a está a disposição do técnico Tite.
Novas Contratações
O Flamengo estava "adormecido" no quesito contratação e a torcida rubro-negra estava vendo as outras equipes reforçando ainda mais seu elenco. Após a lesão de Everton Cebolinha, a diretoria teve que ir ao mercado para encontrar alguém a altura para suprir a falta de um ponta esquerda.
Foi por isso que Michael foi contratado, independente dos valores acertados em ambas as partes, o Flamengo necessitava com urgência de um substituto, mas as inúmeras lesões ao longo das últimas rodadas fizeram a diretoria mudar radicalmente a sua forma de agir no mercado e nessa janela que se encerrará no dia 2, o Mengão contratou ao todo 4 jogadores.
O meia Alcaraz chegou ao Rio de Janeiro na quinta ( dia 29) e além de se apresentar ao clube, o argentino está regularizado e disponível para a partida de amanhã contra o Corinthians pelo Brasileirão. O jovem meia tem apenas 21 anos e o Flamengo mostrou sua força econômica por ter tirado um jogador tão jovem do futebol europeu.

O lateral esquerdo Alex Sandro também é o novo reforço do Flamengo. O atleta conhecido por ter defendido a Seleção Brasileira na época em que Tite esteve no comando, mostrou interesse no projeto do Flamengo. A lateral esquerda agora possui três jogadores de nível de seleção.
Gonzalo Plata foi o último reforço e com a ausência de Michael e Everton Cebolinha, o time precisava de um atacante veloz e o equatoriano foi o jogador escolhido para jogar no Mengão.
Agora é torcer para que esses jogadores possam ajudar o Flamengo a seguir na disputa das três competições nesta temporada e que o departamento médico diminua a quantidade de lesionados ao invés de aumentar.
