Community engagement challenges from splinterlands are more challenging these days and this week, we have even more challenging one as the challenge for this week is related to tactics summoners.
Tactics summoners are the summoners from Rebellion edition with summoners such as eternal tofu, cyptic, elias max pruitt and i just rented a elias max pruitt for this week's battle challenge as i do not own any of the rebellion core monsters or summoners.
Elias max pruitt:
These summoners are special in providing some default abilities and also provide additional abilities for tactics battles such as, elias max pruit, by default, provides 1+ melee attack and 1+ armor to all monster it calls and in addition to that, it either provides repair and cleanse to 1 friendly monster or armored strike and piercing to 1 monster it calls.
Here, the +1 melee attack and armor are default abilities and the combination of other 2 i mentioned above are tactical abilities.
Because of this, these summoners are called as tactics summoners.

The battle i am sharing here is with elias max pruitt summoner with monsters as explained below.
The battle was with 47 mana cost and had just ruleset of allowing just 4 monsters.
Drybone barbarian:
The summoner i used is also having a special option of allowing monsters from 2 splinters as it supports water and life splinter monsters to be summoned and i selected drybone barbarian as front monster for it's enrage, retaliate abilities as it also provides 6 melee attack and has health of 11.
Kulu mastermind:
This monster as we know, is from water splinter and it has shield ability and provides 5 melee attack and is also a opportunity ability monster with attacking the monster with lowest health first.
Venari crystalsmith:
I used venari crystalsmith here as a tank healer and this monster will also give 2 ranged attack besides healing the tank.
It is very important to keep the tank alive to win the battles and a tank healer is very much required.
Swamp spitter:
Last monster i used is the swamp spitter as it is with repair ability and i selected this monster to receive the piercing and armored attack abilities from summoner to make it even stronger.
Battle:
The monsters since only four of those were allowed, with those i fought this battle and the opponent used earth splinter monsters with bloodlust monster of quora towershead and other monsters, but drybone barbarian was good enough to remove the quora monster and remaining were not that challenging for drybone barbarian and the battle was completed in 3 rounds with drybone barbarian and kulu mastermind removing all the monsters used by opponent.
These tactic summoners are more fun to battle with and i plan on renting these summoners whenever possible.
Splinterlands is a card based Blockchain game and rewards it's users in the form of Crypto Currency viz. DEC for playing the games called as battles.
