We are just over 3 days away from the current splinterlands season to end. It's been one of the hardest seasons for me with regards to wins and glint earnings, yet i could get some 9k+ glint to spend by now and i brought 9 major loot chests today and sharing the details of the cards and other items i got.
Although it was just 9 chests, but i saw that, those had some good amount of energy and cards but it was one particular card which i got from multiple chests as in below picture.
Yes, here i go with the details.
The energy from 3 of those 9 loot chests amounted to 5 with 2 of those having 2 energy each and another chest having 1 energy.
At my current level i.e. diamond III in wild format, i need to pay 1700 per energy and that means, 1700 multiplied by 5 equals to 8500 glint and that is just 500 less than the glint i spent to purchase these 9 loot chests.
So, basically, i got the other items including 19 cards for almost free of cost if i minus the glint i got from the energy received!!!
Apart from the 5 energy, 5 of those 9 chests contained cards and another remaining one had 3 legendary potions.
Those 5 chests which had cards, 3 of those had same card and the card as we see is the mar toren trader with one chest having 2 cards, another chest having 4 cards and the remaining one having 6 cards. So, from 3 chests, it was 12 mar toren trader cards i got.
How awesome is that, isn't it?
Ok, now coming back to the other 2 chests which had cards, one of those had 5 broken earth thug which is a sneak ability monster and those 5 monsters will make it level 2.
The last card i got is the magic monster of chaos evoker which was 2 in numbers and it is also a blast ability monster which is from fire splinter.
Mar toren trader is a ranged attack monster and with those 12 cards, my level 4 monster will have enough cards to get to level 5 and this monster when upgraded to level 10, it will have healing ability and being with headwind, it can reduce the ranged attack from monsters used by opponent.
if we can upgrade it to level 10, it will be a good monster to use in second line and have control over battle with that -1 ranged attack for monsters attacking you as these days, ranged attack monsters are more powerful.
Overall, it was a good purchase for me with 5 energy and almost free of cost cards in 19 numbers and who knows, those 5 energy can win me as many as 5 battle wins to take me close to the next level which will be a gold III level and i will be happy if i could play in gold III level before the season ends.
This season is also good for me with some nice glint earning although the battle wins are less as i am currently having close to 18k glint earned for the season end and hoping it to be closer to 25k for the first time.
Splinterlands is a card based Blockchain game and rewards it's users in the form of Crypto Currency viz. DEC for playing the games called as battles.
