Ingredients:

Chicken feet - 6-8

Oil - 1 teaspoon

Bay leaf - 1

Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon

Whole black pepper - 5-6

Onion - 1 (finely chopped)

Cabbage - 1/2 cup (shredded)

Carrot - 1 (julienned)

Capsicum - 1/2 (thinly sliced)

Water - 4 cups

Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon

Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon

Vinegar - 1 teaspoon

Salt - to taste

Ragi flour - 1 teaspoon (mixed in water)

Step by Step Recipe

🔆 Clean the Chicken Feet
Thoroughly wash the chicken feet. Boil them in water for 15 minutes. Once boiled, remove the skin and clean them again.

🔆 Saute the Ingredients
Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, and whole black pepper. Sauté for a few seconds, then add finely chopped onion and cook until golden brown.

🔆 Add Chicken Feet
Add the cleaned chicken feet to the cooker and sauté lightly.

🔆 Add Vegetables
Add shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, and sliced capsicum to the cooker. Sauté the vegetables along with the chicken feet for another 2-3 minutes until they slightly soften.

🔆 Add Water and Spices
Pour 4 cups of water into the cooker. Add black pepper powder, chili flakes, soy sauce, vinegar, and salt as per taste.

🔆 Cook the Soup
Close the pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles.

🔆 Thicken the Soup
Open the cooker and add 1 teaspoon of ragi flour mixed in water. Cook on low flame until the soup thickens.

🔆 Serve
Your hot and healthy chicken feet soup is ready! Pour it into bowls and sprinkle some black pepper powder on top before serving.
