The season is almost over in Splinterlands and after a few more days of ranked battles I managed to accumulate more Glint to open Loot Chests.
Today will be the day to open Ultimate Chests because I feel like I might get my first jackpot in the game so I want to open the Loot Chest that gives the highest chance of a jackpot and that is the Ultimate Chest.
- Each Ultimate Chest has a 0.1% chance of earning 1 jackpot.
My earnings for the season currently stand at 172,512 Glint (86,256 End of Season Glint), I already spent part of the Glint opening Major Chests a few days ago and now I will spend the rest on Ultimate Chests.
My goal was to open 150 Major Chests and 30 Ultimate Chests this season, but my earnings aren't as good as I thought they would be, so I'll probably only be able to open 100 Major Chests and 30 Ultimate Chests. Next season, I'll change my strategy and rent a larger amount of SPS to increase my SPS and Glint earnings for the season.
So far, I've opened 77 Major Chests and 0 Ultimate Chests, so I still need to open 23 Major Chests and 30 Ultimate Chests this season.
Today, I'm going to open 10 Ultimate Chests because that's the amount I can open with the Glint I've accumulated so far, so I'll still need to open 20 more Ultimate Chests before the season ends.
I was wrong and I didn't win my first jackpot this time. I was also very unlucky and didn't manage to earn any energy from these Ultimate Chests, so my earnings this season will be even worse than I imagined, but I'm optimistic and hope that next season will be better with my new strategy.
I was also unlucky to get few Soulbound cards and none of them were the ones I really wanted. I think I should have opened the remaining Major Chests and waited to open 30 Ultimate Chests at once.
My current goal for Glint in Splinterlands is to open as many Major Chests and Ultimate Chests as I can during the season. In my opinion, Loot Chests are the best option because in addition to winning Soulbound cards, I also have the chance to earn energy to increase my SPS and Glint earnings during the season, and I also have the chance to win jackpots. So Loot Chests are my priority for Glint.
I also intend to open some Rarity Draws each season but it will depend on the amount of Glint I earn during that season because one of my main goals in Splinterlands is to be able to evolve my collection of current Soulbounds cards before a new set of Soulbounds cards is released. It will probably still take 1 year so I believe I will be able to get all of them to max level before that happens.
