First of all, before getting into this week's Social Media Challenge, I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate all of you who spend your time reading and commenting on my articles on this wonderful platform I hope you are spending happy holidays with your loved ones and are making the most of the holidays. For this week's Social Media Challenge I wanted to go back in time and analyse a Gladius edition letter. At the time I did a series on this edition and a battle yesterday has given me material to talk about a letter that I never got to analyse and that today I am going to study and share in depth. Here we go.
Lo primero de todo, antes de entrar en materia con el Social Media Challenge de esta semana no quiero dejar de pasar la oportunidad de felicitar la Navidad a todos aquellos que dedicaís vuestro tiempo a leer y comentar mis artículos en esta maravillosa plataforma. Espero que estéis pasando unos felices días con vuestros seres queridos y estéis aprovechando al máximo las vacaciones. Para el Social Media Challenge de esta semana he querido volver un poco al pasado y analizar una carta edición Gladius. En su momento hice una serie sobre está edición y una batalla de ayer mismo me ha dado material para hablar de una carta que nunca llegué a analizar y que hoy voy a estudiar y compartir a fondo. Vamos allá.
And nothing less than a card of legendary rarity is the protagonist of this last post of the Social Media Challenge of this year 2024 that is already coming to an end. Just over 7,000 copies of Jini Guise are currently in circulation. To be correct, at the time of this review there are 7,389 copies of Jini Guise in the Splinterlands universe. I am lucky enough to have two copies. Enough to be able to include her in my roster, but not enough for my goal of upgrading her to level 2 to take advantage of a third special ability that can make a substantial difference. As for its graphic design... Well, it could be better but the important thing is never going to be its design. The important thing is what it can bring to the battlefield.
Y nada menos que una carta de rareza legendaria es la que protagoniza este último post del Social Media Challenge de este año 2024 que ya se acaba. Poco más de 7.000 copias de Jini Guise hay actualmente en circulación. Para ser correctos, en el momento de realizar este análisis hay 7.389 copias de Jini Guise en el universo Splinterlands. Yo tengo la suerte de tener dos copias. Suficiente para poder incluirla en mi roster pero insuficiente para mi objetivo de mejorarla al nivel 2 y aprovechar así una tercera habilidad especial que puede marcar una diferencia sustancial. En cuanto a su diseño gráfico... bueno, podía ser mejor pero lo importante nunca va a ser su diseño. Lo importante es lo que puede aportarnos en el campo de batalla.
Jini Guise is a legendary card, as I told you in the previous section, that belongs to the Earth deck. It has one point of magic attack, two points of speed and five points of vitality, all in exchange for spending four points of summoning mana to place it in your line-up. As for its special abilities, at its starting level it has the usual Bloodlust of the Gladius edition cards and a basic ability to deal with melee and ranged decks like Protect. An ability that gives two shield points to our entire line-up. At level 2 of evolution he gets Blind, at level 3 he gets Silence and, finally, in his last evolution he will gain Resurrect. No jokes with Jini Guise and all his potential.
Jini Guise es una carta legendaria, como ya te decía en la sección anterior, que pertenece al mazo de tierra. Cuenta con un punto de ataque mágico, dos de velocidad y una vitalidad de cinco puntos, todo ello a cambio de gastar cuatro puntos de maná de invocación para colocarla en nuestra alineación. En cuando a sus habilidades especiales y en su nivel inicial cuenta con la habitual Bloodlust propio de las cartas de la edición Gladius y una habilidad básica para enfrentra mazos con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo o a distancia como es Protect. Una habilidad que da dos puntos de escudo a toda nuestra alineación. En el nivel 2 de evolución obtiene Blind, en el tercero nada menos que Silence y, finalmente, en su última evolución va a ganar Resurrect. Pocas bromas con Jini Guise y todo su potencial.
The battle is going to measure me against @sad01988 and we're going to pit an Earth deck against my beloved water deck with a lineup that could very well be one of mine in any normal match. 57 summoning mana points available which is going to allow for multiple strategies. I'm going for a very risky one by passing Obsidian and using Lobb Lowland so I can use Jini Guise and his Protect but... well, you better watch it ;).
La batalla me va a medir a @sad01988 y vamos a enfrentar un mazo de tierra contra mi querido mazo de agua con una alineación que bien podría ser una mía en cualquier combate normal. 57 puntos de maná de invocación disponible que va a permitir múltiples estrategias. Yo opto por una muy arriesgada pasando de Obsidian y utilizando a Lobb Lowland para poder utilizar a Jini Guise y su Protect pero... bueno, mejor que lo veas ;).
Just by looking at my opponent's lineup and the battle conditions that appear, you can already anticipate that my strategy is going to go really wrong. I could have gone better if I had placed some offensive cards with melee attack from the ground deck but I messed up the strategy by abusing the magic attack and I paid for my mistakes with a defeat. The gameplay, at this level, of Jini Guise is the one to provide shield to the rest of the lineup and seek to take advantage of its magical attack, something that improves with Obsidian, but, despite the defeat, I think it is a good battle to test the virtues of the card analyzed this week.
Solo con ver la alineación de mi rival y las condiciones de batalla que aparecen ya puedes anticipar que mi estrategia va a salir realmente mal. Podría haber salido mejor si hubiera colocado algunas cartas ofensivas con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo del mazo de tierra pero equivoqué la estrategia abusando del ataque mágico y pagué mis errores con una derrota. La jugabilidad, a este nivel, de Jini Guise es la de aportar escudo al resto de la alineación y buscar aprovechar su ataque mágico, algo que mejora con Obsidian, pero, a pesar de la derrota creo que es una buena batalla para comprobar las virtudes de la carta analizada esta semana.
