I've mentioned DUO a few times in my Hive Goals posts, but I wanted to devote a full post to it here. It is a great project that I like a lot and there is also a raffle currently that you could benefit from.
DUO is the brainchild of @bulliontools, @bitcoinman and @thebighigg. It is from their work in the HOC which is a group committed to helping onboard people and also helping them get their bearings after joining. They do wonderful work there.
It is for that reason alone that I'm more than glad to buy into DUO. We all want Hive to succeed and these guys are working towards that. I have bought 700 DUO, putting me as one of the top holders, and I plan to buy more. This is one of those projects we all should support.
But I imagine most people aren't here for purely altruistic reasons. At least some of the reason most of us are here is money, and DUO does also have that covered. They pay out nice dividends everyday based on how many DUO you hold and they curate posts, upvoting the best posts from DUO holders.
So really it's win-win, eh? You buy DUO and you are helping support a group that is trying to grow Hive, and you get some nice personal benefits too from holding it. You can't lose!
As if that isn't enough, they are currently holding a raffle. You can buy tickets for 1 HBD each, or you can win a few tickets buy writing a post (like this one) and tagging 5 people. The three winners in the raffle will get 50 DUO each .
If you are interested, you have until August 30 to enter, so get a move on it! Here is the raffle post so go check out the details.
And if you want to buy DUO, do so here.
Anyway, make your own decisions. All three of the founders are fellow members of #silvergoldstackers, so I think they would agree with me when I say if you don't have a lot of money to invest, you may do better buying some precious metals. Especially right now... this market is very uncertain. We all hope for the crypto bull to come any day now, but the world economy isn't doing very well and really this could very easily throw a wrench in the works. Safest investment is always gold or silver. Here's a pretty sweet coin you might consider, but a local coin shop is probably a better place to start.
That said, if you do have extra money, DUO is a pretty good bet, I think.
