Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My goal for the year was 35k Hive. And I made it! Success! So on to my stretch goal for 40k Hive. I haven’t made that one yet, but progress is happening.
Last week I made and bought (mostly bought) 508.63, bringing me to 37,208.410 total Hive Power. You know, come to think of it… is it cheating on my Hive Goals if I’m buying the HIVE instead of earning it?
Hmm. At any rate, that’s 93.0% of my stretch goal!
Math time. 40k - 37,208.410 gives us 2791.59. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 42.9 Hive needed per day to reach 35k by that point.
42.9… that is still far above what I make organically every day, but it is getting close to a realistic number. If I keep buying HIVE as I did last week, then I just might make it.
Second Layer Tokens
So on to my Hive Engine goals. I have a fancy table for this one.
Token | Last week total | Goal | Needed | Note |
---|---|---|---|---|
— | 2000 | 0 | Goal Met | |
BRO | 1.132 | 1000 | 385.836 | 61.4% of the way there! |
PIMP | 319.93 | 100k | 7676.69 | 92.3% of the way there! |
CINE | 257.531 | — | — |
Mostly normal here. My PIMP and CINE gains are just from curation. You can see I did buy one BRO. I kind of wanted to buy more, but instead I bought more RUG. I need to work out what my goals are with RUG. Right now I am up to 1,157.741. The DBOND dividend this past week was really nice. So far I am selling it every week and using it to buy more RUG, but I do need to take some profits here, either back into HIVE, BRO, or BTC. I’ll figure out when to do that… later.
Silver
The silver chart for last week:
Not quite as good as it has been, but oh well. Just under $34 is not a bad place to be! Any gain with silver is good, even if only a few cents.
As a baseball fan, here is something cool I came across. Here is the announcement:
And here are the two coins
both have the same back:
Good looking coins, if a little plain. What is curious to me is that they are from the New Zealand Mint. Is baseball popular in New Zealand? Anyway, get the Dodgers one here and the Yankees one here.
Giveaway
That stuff out of the way, let’s do our SBI drawing! If you are new here, I give away 5 shares of SBI every week to commenters on this post. If you also reblog and comment you get a second entry and double the award (if you win).
So how about this week? Let’s see… last post we had comments from @bitcoinflood @dewabrata @gwajnberg @nicklewis @silversaver888 @thebighigg [x2] @trumpman @vaynard86 [x2].
And the winners are…
