Hey there hivers! Good day from here. Today, I decided to take part of the healthy bees talk regarding to our eyes. This is not to offend or make fun to those unfortunate and i want to say sorry in advance if i hit some wrong spots.
Most of us knew that our eyes are vital part of our health because most of us relies to our eyes to see and do things with our vision. With this, we should or must take care of our eyes so we can maintain our sight as clear as possible to work, appreciate what we can see etc. So you see, some eye diseases can lead to vision loss so it is necessary to take care of our eyes and to be checked by professionals as possible as it can be. Eye care is also important as any part of our body. So, feeling your vision is getting a bit not normal or some eye pain must be consulted to the correct guys for your proper diagnosis.
Can we avoid health risk for our eyes? Research from the experts states that aside from a regular check ups, you should also be aware of your family history regarding to eye diseases that can possibly be acquired. Having a chronic condition like diabetes is one of an example that can put your eyes into its risk. With those examples of condition stated above, it requires more frequent for eye check-ups. Diet also play a vital role in keeping your eyes healthy, consuming foods that got a good quantity of Vitamins A, E, and C, and Lutein and Niacin are some of the good components that can keep your eyes healthy according to experts. Exposing your eyes into too excessive light, maybe like under the sun in the afternoon, will cause another risk to your vision. Ultra Violet (UV) rays can damage your eyes so if you are going to stay under the sun, better to wear protections like wide hats and sunglasses. Cellphone, Computers, Tablets, Pad and other gadgets requires too much of our attention and focus nowadays. This things also stress our eyes if using without moderation. As i experienced it, I almost do not blink if i am focusing using a gadget specially if it really requires my attention doing something. We should practice to give our eyes a break if we are using screen time. You can feel it to your self if your eyes get tired, right? Well, looking far away with a green background might can help. Also, there are approved eye drops that can be used to the eyes. It might help refresh your eyes. Good health hygiene also can help in avoiding your eyes risk, don't just randomly scratch your eyes with your filthy hands of yours. Avoid places that go too much pollutants that can penetrate or damage your eyes. If you are working in a hazardous areas like some constructions, house repairs, metal fabrication, etc., better to wear safety goggles to protect your eyes. Smoking, another unhealthy habit, may also cause your vision to get affected. The risk of developing age related muscular degeneration, cataracts and optic nerve damage can be get from smoking as per research. A good rest and a nice sleep will also a great source of prevention for having eye health risk. Not just the eyes, but also your whole body of course. With good rest and sleep, you can feel refresh and a recharge which also a good practice to help your eyes to recover.
It is not wrong to take care your eyes to maintain its clear and sharp vision. Abusing, excessive, lack of rest are bad habits that might yield to sight lost and will cause you not to see and appreciate your surroundings, the beauty of your love ones, and whatever it is that requires your sight if you lost it.
