This story that I’m about to share is not just a cooked up story, it was something I saw and heard at the same time, its quite shocking and embarrassing to womanhood and honestly I felt so ashamed because that scene was used to classify so many women and it also some people’s harsh reality.
There was this woman in our previous area back then, she is know for attending a big church that always preaches about sin so the extent that they only look at people as sinners, infact if someone a lady should put on trousers it is a sin in their church, they don’t make their hairs with extensions, infact they don’t wear clothes with some funny designs or animations on it, everything is a sin to them in church.
But mind you, the first time we knew this particular lady and her family, she used to do all this things, she use to dress good, apply makeup, wear wigs and gold but all of a sudden, their bishop said it was a sin and they should bring all those properties to church and got them burnt, it was so surprising to me.
Some years back, her husband bagan to fall sick, he was seriously sick and he would always collapse most of the time, after rushing him to the hospital, nothing was found wrong with him, but it kept on happening, unknowingly to everyone the woman was cheating on the husband with a mopol that lived very close them, now in this part of country Nigeria, there are certain rules you don’t cross as married woman, especially the southern men, Urhobo men to precise..if there wives cheat on them it either affects the children or kills man unless some kind of ritual is done in man’s village.
Now this how the woman got caught, her son held phone and was operating it when he found his mother’s nudes on the phone, she has been sexchatting with the mopol and that was how the boy exposed his mother to whole street, she became very ashamed and left her home, after few weeks the husband’s sickness became worse and he eventually died and we later found out that the woman’s cheating actually killed the husband. As it is right now this lady does no longer find anything as a sin again, she has gone back to her old lifestyle and even more worse, she wears more revealing clothes, she dyed her hair, and she openly tells you that she has boyfriend after six children, she nows very skimpy clothing, Jeans and all, now all those things are no longer a sin to her.
