Water is always in the foreground when I come here but...
I have shown My Lake (Prespa Lake) many times, but I don't know if I ever wrote that the lake is at a high altitude of about 850 m and is surrounded by mountains. On both sides are the Pelister and Galičica national parks. This is the side where the Baba mountain begins, the highest peak is Pelister and behind it is my city Bitola. On the other side is Galičica, a mountain under which the Prespa Lake is connected to the Ohrid Lake (or so they say) and the beautiful Ohrid behind it.
Near the lake are endless apple orchards.
