Balay Sungayan Mountain Resort, the top hill resort in Guihulngan City, visit with my sister.
It was one fine morning, the second day of our road trip to Bacolod City and Sipalay in Negros Island for a short vacation. My family and I spent two days in different resorts before reaching to Bacolod City, and one of the resorts was in Guihulngan City. Before hitting the road again, my older sister and I woke up a little bit earlier than the rest of our family members and headed up for a very short side road trip in this top hill resort.
We took a motorcycle to get there since it was the more convenient transportation to get there than driving a car considering the "road under construction activities." After around 30 minutes ride, we finally arrived in this road thrilling resort.
You can literally see the whole surrounding places in 360 degrees there. It was really a breathed of fresh air to get there and relaxed a bit while having a cup of coffee.
They have a restaurant there for your convenience in case you want to eat or drink something while enjoying the surroundings.
At the back of the restaurant, there is a swimming pool and cottages for an overnight stay but it was under construction that time.
They also have some animals there like monkeys and this cat like one in cages. It was my first time to see such animal so I took a photo only this one but the monkeys. 😅
There is a little pathway off the road to walk for about 15 minute before you get to the scary steep stairs.
The resort has 320 stairs. The stairs are put in a very steep part. However, if you are scared of heights, there is another route but takes more minutes to walk.
It was a fine trip and I am looking forward to go back since they have a lot of improvement there. Well, thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful, friends until next time!😍
