The phota was taken at Amalienborg, the Royal Residence. The photo only shows two buildings out of four that makes up the palace. These are build around an octagonal courtyard. The building you see in the middle is Fredrikskirken. A church that Frederic the 5 th. Started building. But because it became too expensive, it wasn't completed until 1894.
