The well-known bridge is a great example of a suspension bridge with steel wires with stone towers. It is connecting Manhattan to Brooklyn. The river between these two districts is East River. The bridge completed and ready to open in 1883. The name was not Brooklyn Bridge before in 1915. It was remaned that year, after being originally called New York and Brooklyn Bridge.
