This very flat landscape is found in Argentina. The place is the Lake Epecuén. These trees have once been covered by water from the lake. In 1985 a dam broke. This resultet the water to rise 10 meters leaving the town Villa Epecuén below 10 meters of water. It took 25 years before the water resided, revealing the ruins of this town.
