In all of the southern African countries I think this bird is known. It's guite large. Almost the size of a big hen. It does resembles, but I don't remebmer the name. They tend to be together in a flock. Not alone as on the photo. This one was together with several others of it's kind. I just wanted a close up photo. I saw this one in Botswana.
