I have always said that Buenos Aires has wonderful things and I can refer to multiple areas or aspects, well I do not say Buenos Aires in general but better Capital Federal. We can enjoy a lot of activities and there is always something to do, that is why it is considered the city of fury? The city that never sleeps? It is possible.

A couple of days ago I found out about a fair that takes place the last weekend of every month, it is the Aurora fair, a fair of the Russian community in Buenos Aires which aims to bring together all Russian citizens in one place, and also offer the general public a bit of their tradition, culture and gastronomy. An event that takes place in the neighborhood of Colegiales a few meters from the train station with the same name.

Household items, crafts and an area where they have a mini techno music party.

I took photos of some faces in this section of the fair, you could feel some kind of brotherhood between these Russian friends.

There were even many children there, all very warm because even though it was a sunny day, the cold was insane.

I tried one of these drinks, one with apple, lemon and ginger and another with mint. All very good and ideal to warm up a little.

It was very funny to see this disco ball hanging from a tree 😆

It had been a long time since I had attended a fair and it was a good idea to have gone, just before this I was in a portrait workshop with some fellow photographers and when I left I took the subway to get to this place. I thought it would be a closed place because of the weather or maybe somewhere different but it looked like the courtyard of a house, which made it very familiar, both for this and for the divisions that the fair had, there were sectors of gastronomy, people selling items, clothes and in the background the party that I mentioned above.

I was hungry when I arrived 😂 so I tried some of the dishes and tasted many drinks there, there was none that I disliked.

I think one of my favorite stands was the one that says: Busters...

We made friends with the guys who were selling the drinks, they taught us to say a couple of words in Russian and we enjoyed several drinks.

Look at this... I was at a Russian fair and there was a stand where they sold "tequeños", our Venezuelan dish is more international than I thought :)

These are some peculiarities that were in a tarot stand, I think.

We made a purchase here, they were grilling, I love grilling so I couldn't let it go by. Chicken, pork and beef bruchettes.

An indescribable flavor and seasoning. We also bought a type of dried meat that they usually eat during the winter in Russia... too good.

I think that attending this kind of events or places is very educational at a cultural level, it is important to share and know other kind of cultures and customs, besides trying new things you can share a nice moment with people from other parts of the world. The atmosphere was really nice so much that we felt very well there, many people came to talk to us (in English) in a very welcoming and friendly way.

It was a wonderful experience, many good moments and one of them was when this little friend arrived 🦮😊

Right in the center of the place they made a bonfire and made a circle so that anyone who wanted to warm up a little could do so.

This was a very good thing because there were a lot of kids, so it was good entertainment for them.

There were also some tables there and the combination was to warm up with the fire, drink vodka and talk.

Night was falling and I was running out of battery in my camera, I was only able to take a little more than 40 photos 😂 why not share them all with you?

I am sure that this is not the only fair of this style held in the city, it was just one that I found at the time. I am encouraged to attend many more, so as soon as I can I will have the opportunity to share more of this with you.
