A few days ago I shared some images of this unused bridge that is in the Palermo neighborhood, Buenos Aires. I did it in black and white and the photos were very related to the bridge itself, this time I want to do it in color but they are not of the bridge itself, but from it to the surroundings. It was obvious that I had to prepare some taking advantage of the type of light that was there at that time, golden light during sunset.

During my stay there I was able to capture two trains passing through the tracks under the bridge, if you can see one has a label of M26 and the other M15.

I was reading a little more about this bridge that has been forgotten for more than a year and that has made vehicular traffic in the area much more difficult. It is called the Ciudad de la Paz - Soler Bridge, a fact that I had not mentioned before, nor is it the bridge that connects 3 neighborhoods: Belgrano, Palermo and Colegiales. I spend a lot of time passing and walking around here and I have never really seen it operational, I can imagine what the flow of traffic could be like if it were only active.

I took some detailed photos of these trains, some branches in the foreground, people walking, crossing the bridge, details of the structure and a photo of my shadow projected on the ground, I love how you can also see the golden light there.

Near this area there are always reconstructions, streets closed, detours due to construction and I don't know why but I have always found it interesting to take photos of the signs. As well as cars and motorcycles, the 85 mm lens really makes anything look interesting and different.

This is an added bonus, some flowers that were somewhere on the bridge. I hope you liked this set of color shots of this forgotten area of the Palermo neighborhood. I also hope that you have started your week very well and that it continues like this.

I love the way you’ve highlighted both the infrastructure and the everyday moments around it. The contrast between the old bridge and the vibrant life nearby is striking.
