One of the most famous or popular beaches in Mar Del Plata is MUTE but it is not only because of the beach itself, but because of a set of things that range from a sea with not very aggressive waves until the majestic electronic music festival called MUTE. Although this is not the name of this beach, it is known as this, it is located between Playa Alfar, Playa El Faro and Playa Del Balcón.
It can be a family place if you wish, although it is very popular with young people, the sunsets here are beautiful and usually intense. I didn't have any luck with that because on the days of my visit it was very cloudy.
The MUTE electronic music festival is about 15 years old, what started as a local party became the continent's most important festival in this genre or at least one of them. National and international artists are presented, the festival lasts from the end of December to the end of February and the cost of tickets is expensive depending on the location and service.
I personally am not usually a big party animal, but I came once in the past and I could see what it's all about. Although on this occasion I was just enjoying the beach and at sunset we went to the side of the stage where they were setting up the whole set.
In these photos you can see some billboards, drink bars and the large stage.
It's a unique experience when we talk about the combination of different factors to take into account... beach day, sunset, the festival begins, screen projections, lights and good music. Additionally, you can enjoy the sunrise since each event ends around 7 or 8am. The sunrises are usually a little softer and the tones are pink. This is another of the attractions of this event, what visitors literally know as SUNSETS.
Every year in the summer season Mar Del Plata has its events at MUTE and people from different countries come to enjoy the festival. During the entire season they have reached 300,000 people.
This is a summary of what the MUTE festival is, accompanied by my experience and my images in the event space and some landscapes and details of this part of the beach. I hope you have found your interest and if you made it this far I thank you for your time and appreciation.
Have a nice day :)
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
