I have always been fascinated by playing with different tones in editing, to the point of having favorite styles that are related to cinematic. Those who know this know what it is about, it has to do with movie scenes and you can get different tones to generate atmospheres. I have taken some photos in one of my favorite places in the Palermo neighborhood. Yes, this bridge.
I never get bored when I go there, I've done it several times with different lenses and I always get different results. Very interesting scenes with different kinds of lighting depending on the time of day and that can be used to compose quite attractive images.
There are some padlocks on the fence that I have photographed before and each time I do it I get something different, a simple padlock that is useful in many ways.
The way the beams and irons are drawn on the floor is something that can also be used in your favor, in black and white it would make different compositions with much more contrasts.
Even trash can be interesting to capture, like an empty Pepsi can.
Whenever I can and I have time available I stay there for a while waiting for the trains to pass, none passed this time, so I have a good excuse to return.
These are two shots taken in the same direction at the same distance but with different focuses, I think I used an aperture of f/5.0. The intention was for that fence to be clearer, In this way, in the edition I could highlight the texture and create more contrasts.
It's one of the most beautiful places in terms of rails or sections of tracks. This area is surrounded by trees and when the train passes by it creates a pretty fantastic scene.
On the other hand... I think I was very good last weekend, right? A plastic bottle whose substance ceased to exist was abandoned in that place, I think there was a garbage can quite close by. It's a bad beer by the way 😃
Here is one of the metrobus stations, half with light and half in shadows. I think I'm becoming addicted to compositions with this type of lighting, lately I want to create scenes based on this. I've been studying different lighting schemes for street photography and this is really obsessive.
Something similar in the last photo while you are two people crossing the avenue on the pedestrian crossing.
I hope some of what's here is to your liking. I also wish you a great and productive start to the week :)
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
