Hello friends, I hope you are very well. Today I want to share a series of portraits that were part of a photographic exercise with RGB lights in the last and most recent workshop I attended. For at least two hours we did different themes using natural light, we used different spaces or environments of the location and at the end the organizer put together a lighting scheme with this type of lights.
This is the kind of work he particularly likes to do, it's a good idea to use RGB lights to vary and try more striking portraits, depending on preferences. I've been wanting to try this for a while and the opportunity came up, albeit with parameters from the organizer.
We used two lights for this exercise from both sides and also used only red.

Hola amigos, espero que estén muy bien. Hoy quiero compartir una serie de retratos que fueron parte de un ejercicio fotográfico con luces RGB en el pasado y más reciente workshop al que asistí. Durante al menos dos horas hicimos diferentes temáticas usando luz natural, utilizamos diferentes espacios o ambientes de la locación y al final el organizador armó un esquema de iluminación con este tipo de luces.
Este es el tipo de trabajos que a él en particular le gusta hacer, es una buena idea usar luces RGB para variar e intentar retratos más llamativos, según las preferencias. Hace tiempo que quería hacer una prueba con esto y casualmente llegó la oportunidad, aunque con parametros del organizador.
Utilizamos dos luces para este ejercicio de ambos lados y también usamos solo el color rojo.
I was quite satisfied with the results however it would not be a tool that I can always use, I have thought about buying it, I have seen some models and prices but I think that in principle I would use only one and I would make a combination with natural light or flash light with a Softbox.
I have in mind a lot of lighting equipment that I will buy because I intend to create a mini studio, nothing extravagant or out of the ordinary, rather minimalist but that allows me to have more possibilities to compose and vary in the theme of portraits and why not? product photography.

Quedé bastante satisfecho con los resultados sin embargo no sería una herramienta que pueda utilizar siempre, he pensado en comprarlo, he visto algunos modelos y precios pero creo que en principio utilizaría solo uno y haría una combinación con luz natural o con luz de flash con un Softbox.
Tengo en mente muchos equipos de iluminación que voy a comprar porque tengo la intención de crear un mini estudio, nada extravagante ni fuera de lo común, más bien minimalista pero que me permita tener más posibilidades de componer y variar en la temática de retratos y por qué no? Fotografía de productos.
The main idea before using this lighting was to suppress all the natural light coming into the location, that was not possible but we tried to darken the room as much as we could, the background was a wall. When it's my turn to do portraits of this type I will do it with an infinite gradient background, I might want to use a smoke machine and it will be in black and white, Nude Art style :)
For me it was a pleasure to have been part of this workshop as it has helped me to learn many technical aspects. I have already shared other portraits from this day and have mentioned how pleased I am with the model as well..... Jenn does an excellent job.

La idea principal antes de usar esta iluminación era suprimir toda la entrada de luz natural que entraba en la locación, eso no fue posible pero intentamos oscurecer lo más que pudimos la habitación, el fondo fue una pared. Cuando sea mi turno de hacer retratos de este tipo lo haré con un fondo infinito degradado, posiblemente quiera utilizar una máquina de humo y será en blanco y negro, estilo Nude Art :)
Para mí fue un placer haber sido parte de este workshop ya que me ha servido de aprendizaje en muchos aspectos técnicos. Ya he compartido otros retratos de este día y he mencionado lo satisfecho con que estoy también con la modelo... Jenn hace un excelente trabajo.
