This is a lovely contest. An opportunity for hivers to show their love for their favorite community. Hive is like a country with so many states and tribes. I can't keep up with the amount of communities on hive. I have explored several communities and there seem to be a community for any area of life you could possibly think of.
If I were to choose a community that I feel a sense of belonging, it will have to be the #proofofbrain community. Ever since I joined hive, proofofbrain has been a community I feel very comfortable with and I met a lot of my hive friends from proofofbrain.
But then before I joined hive, before I met proofofbrain, I was a dreemer a member of the dreemport community, though at that time it wasn't known as dreemport but it is still pretty much the same family. When I saw this contest, I realized that I have never gotten a chance to talk about dreemport and share my beautiful moments with the community.
There's a whole lot to say about this community. Actually before I met #dreemport I was like a lost sheep drowning in the ocean. Back then I was a novice who didn't know his left from right when it comes to blogging. I was getting it all wrong, until dreemport found me or I found them, I can't really remember. What I know for sure is that they formed me. They dragged me out of the ocean, cleaned me up and placed me on the right track.
#dreemport is not a community that looks down on a user simply because they are dishing out low quality contents. dreemport is ready to work with you and improve you in every possible way, provided that you are willing. I have watched dreemport convert stubborn headed spammers into quality content creators. I'm pretty sure that as long as I remain a blogger, I'll forever be grateful to #dreemport and all it's beautiful members for what they have done and keep doing for me.
I feel like I'm talking more about myself, instead of talking about dreemport lol. Let's get down on some interesting benefits of joining the dreemport community.
Dreemport A Welcoming Family
Have you been to the dreemport discord server? If not hop in right now. On this server you are bound to meet the best people in the world. People who are so funny, friendly and quite caring. When I was still very active in the online world, I can remember keeping late nights chatting, playing games and generally having fun with my friends in the server. If the captain @dreemsteem happens to be in a happy mood, then know that there will be several airdrops in the server. she is always in a good mood by the way. Truth is sometimes I wouldn't even know who the airdrops were coming from, because they just keep raining down.
Dreemport Challenge/Contests
Did you know that dreemport has a token of it's own. Yeah the Dreem Token and it has a reasonable dollar value as well. If you feel like earning extra apart from your hive earnings, then you might want to be on the lookout for these dreemport Contests. They really have interesting contests with amazing results. All my years as a blogger, I have never seen a contest that the winners get rewarded with an all expense paid trip outside the country, but I saw this happen in a #dreemport contest. That's what I love about these contests, they always have a surprise up their sleeves.
Dreemport A Shoulder To Lean On
It is normal for communities to support individual bloggers, but very few communities support their other communities. Dreemport is quite unique in that aspect, They support communities across the hive platform. I have seen them help newly formed communities stand on their feet. I'm sure of several communities that I have gotten to know through the dreemport. They throw lights on these communities by hosting contests in collaboration with different communities. Dreemport Your Voice To The World
I think this is one of the major reasons of creating the dreemport community in the first place. Creating a community where people from all specs of life can have an opportunity to showcase their posts to the world. Have you ever stopped by at the dreemport portal? This show is held every Thursday, On this show you get a chance to present your post to the community. When I say present, I don't mean paste your link and disappear, but you have to give a presentation speech and everybody will listen to you talk about your post, isn't that great. Don't miss the next show coming up next Thursday. look out for the #show-text-channel on the dreemport Discord, that is where the PYPT show is held. I have always known that this show exists, but never had a chance to participate until today. My voice was all shaky as I presented my post lol.
