This Sunday I went to the showing of "Hadestown" at the Lyrical Theatre in London! It was a lovely experience.
The show follows the Ancient Greek mythology story of Orpheus and Eurydice and their journey into the underworld. The musical side of the preformance was excellent too, so many wonderful songs that I thought to myself I need to look into after this show is done, they were that catchy to me and enjoyable. 😅
The lyrical theatre was not as big as I expected it to be, infact the viewing arrangements we're incredibly squashed in, the seats for me we're incredibly small and I don't classify myself as a big individual even at 6 foot tall yet I found my leg room to be quite cramped, regardless I guess that is to be expected of London theatres! we lack a lot of space here.
I opted for quite reasonable seats, with a perfect view of the stage minus the heading obstruction (the staircase upwards leads only to a door for dramatic effect), so the seats all in all came out to be excellent!
