#BeerSaturday when I was almost eliminated by Robocraft beer

in #hive-18771910 days ago

When I opened the fruit and vegetable drawer of my fridge (which I use to store beer 🙂) and seeing how many cans of Robocraft beer I've accumulated, I realized I'm in for some extra tasting this holiday season.

After a hearty and spicy lunch, I was very thirsty. I looked through the cans one by one and chose one, with the type of beer that seemed best for refreshing and quick drinking.

I chose the Session IPA beer
A weaker alcohol percentage of 4.8%, it doesn't promise what the mugunghwa robot doll on the label of this can says. "You are eliminated".

This doll from Korean pop culture found itself at the training ground of the Korean series Squid game and eliminated the participants in the game there.

Does this beer eliminate me too?
After opening the can and pouring the beer into the glass, a pleasant refreshing smell of tropical fruit spread around the glass. How does it taste?

I took a sip, let the beer slide down my tongue and into my throat and enjoyed the fragrant fruity notes, mild carbonation without bitterness. If I didn't know the flavors of beer and hops, I'd think this was some kind of juice.

I emptied the can and emptied the glass in two gulps.
Thirst was quenched in an instant.

Thinking about the message from the Session IPA can, I thought I'd look among the remaining cans for one of the stronger beers that could really knock me out 🙂
I found this: Monitor Heads, Triple New England, 9% ABV.

I liked the fact that after opening the can, I did not smell the alcohol around me, as I have experienced with some beers with higher alcohol content.
Maybe it was because they were industrial beers?
Immediately after pouring into the glass, this beer had a high foam, which quickly fell due to the high carbonation.

Beer with increased bitterness, masked the amount of alcohol at the first sip, but after a few moments, the increased % of alcohol was felt in the mouth.

With this beer I have to have something to snack on, some roasted almonds and peanuts in a hot pepper coating. It was the ideal addition to this beefed-up, triple beer...

A few minutes after drinking the Monotor Heads, I felt that this beer, rather than the Session IPA, could carry the line from the label of the first beer I drank... Two or three cans of this triple New England beer, knocked me off my feet. Even this combination, with just one can of strong beer, was enough to relax me nicely and make me a little sleepy🙂
I'm not eliminated, just nicely relaxed.

From the #beersaturday tasting, to beer lovers who are celebrating, I wish you a Merry Christmas!
Cheers!
