Hi friends of the #NatureObserver Community wherever you are, good morning and I hope you are always enthusiastic in looking for objects of observation.

This time I found an interesting larva, the color and spines growing on its body really caught my attention. However, you have to be careful, friends, I have been exposed to thorns or hairs that grow on the bodies of these larvae and it turns out they can cause extraordinary itching. I don't know if all the thorns or feathers cause itching, but there's no harm in being careful.

Very nice observation, but as you say, some can defend themselves well. I think it's mainly to avoid being eaten by a bird or a hedgehog.

True as you said @birdwatcher, I think that's one way for the larvae to avoid predators.
