Hello friends
Hope you're doing great today. Here is my new work of art. It's a drawing of an absolutely amazing sculpture called 'the father' by He Zhenhao.
The "Father" sculpture, located at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing, China, is a renowned work created by artist He Zhenhao in 1987. The statue portrays a rugged, elderly peasant man, symbolizing strength, resilience, and the hardworking nature of Chinese rural farmers. Carved with deep lines and a powerful expression, the sculpture evokes a strong emotional response, highlighting the struggles and sacrifices of the older generation in China’s agricultural communities. It stands as an iconic piece of Chinese contemporary art and is widely respected for its realism and emotional depth.
I did this using pencil & colour pens and cardboard paper.
