We were given a very interesting topic, when I say interesting I really mean it. If you are not participating in the hive reachout community, then I can say you are missing a lot. So let's move to the topic that was given to us this week, you all should not forget to participate in this weeks activities, don't miss out.
The topic that was given to us this week is "THE POWER OF EMPATHY". First of all, let's define empathy, empathy for me is the ability for someone to understand and be able to share someone feelings, thoughts and emotions of another person, I can also call it the ability to put yourself in someone's shoe, and be able to feel someone's pain.
The power of empathy is a super power on its own, because it's gives you the ability to be able to blend with others because you know what they have passed through and how they feel, so you will know how to speak to them.
The power of empathy gives you an opportunity of blending with others and it helps to build connections with others. It brings more deeper and meaningful relationships, it helps you to connect with people more easier and more deeper.
The power of empathy also helps in settling issues and conflicts, when you understand each other's part of the story and perspectives, it will make it easier for you to settle issues between them. And it will be more easier for you to do so, because you will know what brought the issues and how it has affected both of them and how it can be settled in a way that each of them will be satisfied. The power of empathy is really a great power and it can also be called a skill.
This power or skills, have many uses and it is very great. It also have many things that it will ease you to do, because it makes you a general person that everyone would like to share their experience with.
Another amazing thing about the power of empathy is that it promotes your ability of kindness and compassion, thereby showing more love. This skill would make you love and have compassion for others, because from their story and their past, they might have been through difficult and bad times, so this skill would help you to be more kind and compassionate to them because you know how it feels like to be in their show, it will also make you to help others more often and more easily.
