Often times when I am out for a photo walk, I have never expected what kind of bug or insect I might find during the photowalk, because the condition of the environment, the time of the day, and the insect will vary from time to time. Although I can say that I mostly will see some of the regular, often times I am also open to new surprises.
This time I was a bit surprised when I found this big stick bug. I could not find the exact species of this stink bug, but most likely to be the brown-marmorated stink bug but this one is so big, a lot bigger than the one that I usually see.
And also I found it a little bit above my head on one of the small tree branches. I need to pull the branch closer to me to be able to take some photos of this guy. I tried hard not to jinx the beach which might cause the bug to be disturbed and then flew away from me.
Although, you will notice that this guy changed direction, but it is caused by the direction of me taking photos of this guy. I was so happy that it stayed still, and maybe because of its size then it might think that I was not such a big disturbance that he needed to be scared off.
