Hello Morning everyone in Photofeed, it is so nice to be back and make my entry for this week's Macro Contest. And I have this Winged destroyer as my entry.
Yep, this little winged creature is one of the enemy in the gardening world, especially for the farmers who planted something that bears some small fruit like chilly or tomatoes.
Don't be fooled by their lovely shape, color, and appearance, as it could destroy your crops if you see them lingering around the plantation far too often.
Look at the orange color on it body, and how cute it looks, it is as beautiful as the bee. But behind it, it holds some devastating power. This is the fruit fly, and when you see them around too much, it means that soon your crop will be affected a lot.
The adult of this fly, will inject the fruit with its egg, and then when the egg hatched inside the fruit, they will start to devour the fruit from the inside thus making the fruit rot, and then finally fall to the ground.
So incase you saw them around the plant or your crop, do take care of them immediately, otherwise you won't get much from the season.
