I believe we as christians ought to follow the footstep of Jesus, when he was on earth, this is God coming down to earth in human form to relate with man, to show case how much he loves and cares for us, despite having to pass through the prophets and judges and kings and despite the many signs amd wonders and miracles he felt he needed to come to us to dwell among men so we can understand him better.

WE LOVE CAUSE HE FIRST, LOVED US, 1John 4:19

You see this is the foundation of christianity, right from the early church the all came together stayed in one place shared all they had in common, there was no rich or poor, it was a community of people bonded by love, this continues till to day in some churches...

I have observed the slogan of the members church of God International #MCGI ...THE LEGACY CONTINUES, I don't know what transpired some years back but this love, this effort of reaching out to lots of people helping out in various ways either its a medical outreach, visiting the care homes for the elderly, children, launching one community project or another is so amazing and i must commend this love, its really amazing

This is the true essence of christianity, this is more than a church its a movement, despite the financial burden attached, all it takes to make this possibe its so good, you see i cant possibly recall having to see this kind gesture in my country by a church!....meanwhile its usually the other way round, these churches rather collects from the poor whether they have what to eat or not, collecting money in form of offerrings of different kinds, tithe, prophets or pastors seeds, kingdom seeds, giving! Giving!! Giving!!!...

Mind you its not like i'm against these things, but the way some churches go about it, they do not care if the people actually have any source of income, is their businesses doig well, what are their challenges, how can or what business ideas do they know, how can the church help, but no they just want tge people to just keep bringing money in form of all kimds of giving

The Bible commands us in Galatians 4:10 to Do good to all men, but first to those of the household of faith, so it has to start from within, the poor, vulnerable, the less priviledge among you should feel this warmth of love, acceptance and embrace from those around, not discriminating,

This is exactly how i felt from day one since i began following the lord, you see there are many ways of reaching out to lost souls, the bible says we love cause he first loved us, we didnt even know how to love, thats not all, in Romans 5:8 the scripture says while we were yet sinners christ died for us, so that means by God's standard we were not yet qualified for this care and love, so its not only about those in church but church should be about reachout to others to let them know of these LOVE, GOD'SLOVE IN US**.
