The thought of quitting my job has never popped into my head for one obvious reason - I currently have no better offer available and it does provide much needed income. But I do honestly long for a way out, and the thought of independence and of course Wealth is something I am very willing to accommodate at any given period.
When it comes to action though it is a different story with me. I do take action but even I know that I've never really backed up my big dreams with the necessary and consistent actions, as well as the sacrifices that they demand. Yet one of the biggest perils of being an adult is that there is always great hindsight about what could have been if we had done things differently.
Of course the second we reflect for those who are like me now, currently lamenting, there are things we certainly could have done differently. The only problem is that knowing doesn't equate actions. Also it appears to take whatever direction of impulse we are thrown to experience in the moment. This behaviour only prolongs what I've come to see as the dependency period for those who truly seek financial freedom.
Financial Freedom is still very much bought like a commodity till this day. It takes time, effort, consistency, patience and a bit of risk in no particular order. We can either slowly make small deposits that accumulate with time or we can make significant ones that set up on the pathway faster. The latter of course is very difficult and isn't readily available to everyone, but we all can start somewhere.
I still believe crypto is that means for me even though it sometimes feels like a lost opportunity. We'll see how the future plays out, and if I finally manage to grow my deposits all the way to freedom.
