Use it or lose it.The more I step away from this platform the more difficult it becomes to make a comeback. I've been trying to get an article in for two days now with minimal success. Not for any of the previously stated reasons, but because I simply felt uninspired to compose anything. Quite weird really, considering the fact that the secrets to a successful article are well known to me - which is that first you have to actually publish something.

That has been easier said than done lately. It isn't for a lack of experiences either, but from a lull in articulation. Organising thoughts and then actually putting pen to paper can actually be quite the task. I find that ironic in itself, as I've often used this medium as a way to organise my thoughts. It therefore means that my mind is naturally resisting the chance for organising and articulating which is rather strange.

When I was on a hot, consistent writing streak I noticed something rather valuable to me, which is that There really is no new idea out there. Even our most independent thoughts are still variations of some other line of thinking. We can either pretend that isn't true, or use it best to our advantage. We can all talk about similar issues and give our own unique variations on them. Each opinion carries so much uniqueness within it that it seems like a fresh idea altogether. I believe the great thought leaders and thinkers of our century have long figured this out, same goes for virtually all areas of our lives. Our uniqueness always lies in our ability to present our cases, not necessarily in the cases themselves.

Of course, varied thoughts is not a mere regurgitation of existing thoughts. The last thing that anyone wants is to come off as unoriginal. I like some particular writers on this platform for their unique expressions. Am not alone in this, and the community also seems to take note and appreciate in kind. It must also be said that these writers have figured the art of consistency in their writing and certainly know how best to work the audience.
