With no doubt, Christmas is that time of the year where a lot of spending happens. It is either one want to fix this, do that or this which eventually takes cash out of ones hand and so it is every single year.
You see.... one thing I always tell people is that Christmas isn't a do or die affair and as this one passes, another will come so why fight or bite fingers cause of it although it is painful seeing that one cant do what others are doing at the moment but it doesnt warrant the need to cause an alarm in the home and the prayer is there should be enough for each spending.
So few years back, things were difficult for my family and then that family that always celebrated Christmas in a grand style could not afford it. I honestly don't know how things turned out that way But it did and at that point I was still in high school so I couldn't work neither my siblings so we all had to depend on daddy for survival. Like I said earlier it is so tough seeing that one can't celebrate the way it should but no cause for alarm. I watched how my both parent struggled to provide food and then on boxing day just like today back then my mom had to go out to buy little food stuff so we could eat for the day. Mehn!! It wasn't easy but I was happy with what we have and my parents were proud of us cause we understood so well. Well this is just a little story of some sour Christmas for us but super excited that tables have turned and for good.
For this Christmas, I don't want to neglect the fact that we have 90 days in January but calendar says 31 days and from the start of December I have put everything in place. I did a rough budget of how much I will be needing and my spending analysis cause I do know myself that when it's the 23 of December i would surely go all out so far the money is available. After my budget was doyn and thanks to nice people who showed me undeservable love which really helped cover up sto expenses so i really did not dip hand into my purse. So guys to avoid too much spending even before going to the market to buy my wears, I already locked some amount of money on my both banking app which is not accessible until the second week of January so as to not go broke because trust me when I say we have 90 days in January. 🤣
Indeed this saving method will helpe me check my finances and to spend wisely cause I would not want to be cashless this period neither do I want to go broke by January.
