During the day she bumbed into an old time friend Lucy. The sight of Lucy brought back unpleasant memories.
Lucy and Kayla were best of friends In college till an unfortunate happening which caused their friendship. Betrayal was the theme.
They were both medical students, and an assignment was given which was to account seventy percent of the semesters grading for that course. Kayla being seriously ill gave her friend to help submit as she could barely walk.

At the end of the semester, after their final exam, Kayla failed the course despite doing well in the exam. She laid complaints but all to no avail. She had to repeat when others had proceeded to a new class year.
Lucy came months later and confessed to Kayla she's the reason she's repeating the semester. On the assignment she gave her to help submit in her ill state, she erased Kayla's details and inputed hers as she couldn't do her assignment on time as she forgot.
Kayla was in shock as her own friend who she would literally vouch for anywhere could do that to her.
The heart break was unbearable.
Seeing her today brought back all those memories. The evening breeze helped her calm the triggered anger and betrayal feeling.
