here's a pair of shadows you are not likely to see anywhere else but here in the Shadow Hunters community. there are lots of river cruise boats on the Danube in Budapest but these are not traffic lights for all of them. they are ordinary traffic lights for motor vehicles on the road. but at the time the road happened to be a meter or so below the surface of the river. of course it was not built that way but when we were there in September there was a terrible flood with the river almost 7 meters higher than normal. it was a serious problem for the city and it wasn't because the Danube was brown instead of blue.
but as i have mentioned several times here in Hive we have a Norwegian saying- Never so bad that it isn't good for something. and so it is with this flood. it was a truly rare opportunity to take shadow shots of traffic lights in the river. and being an avid shadow hunter, i instantly realized this lucky chance and capitalized on it
Aren't shadows fun?!!
