There is a lot of talk going on about the Hive being sold in the korean and the chinese market. And some of the chinese exchanges likely to delist it over the STEEM and other cotnent coins. I have yet to see this myself in writing or notifications. So I have no idea and we can't believe in Discord chats with facts.

So let's treat it as a hypothetical scenario.

What if Hive gets delisted from the centralized exchange and what are our options in this case if everything goes south for the investors, witness and the writers who are investing into the hive.

So here are out options when the coin gets delisted from some ofthe exchanges.

Fuse with other Altcoin

There is maya protocol that has RUNE and CACAO pair. And if Hive and other layer 2 coins join the other altcoins they kind of find safe heaven. When kids fail in the career then they tend to join back with the parents. And they grow over what is being offered by the parents and what is left in the inheritance. So that is one of the plan B.

You fuse with RUNE as one known pair for gamers in splinterlands etc. And maybe that would also have some exposure in thorverse. Not just thorchain but other Layer 2 of ethereum are wide open especially in the immutable, gala etc world. You pick the games and metaverse and you get the chance to build over their ecosystem.

Internal DEX to convert to Ethereum Asset

I know one chain called COS which is contentOS and they tend to offer such free tokens for writing content and creating videos. So they don't have the listing power or the power for their token for daily trading. So they tend to allow the users to convert their token into ethereum and the bitcoin. So that is another option.

Like you can convert the HIVE into the USDC or maybe just SATS on the lightning platform? Yes it's going to be hard to use the lightening network but that can be a good option. I personally think Ethereum network is one way Hive can survive even without the CEX and you can use their L2 for the small tokens that can be easily used for the transfer.

Lightning Network and Shifting Delegations

Bitcoin has L2 and also Hive power converted into the bitcoin level delegation can be another level of the innovation. But that means a lot of things need to be innovated on Hive. You just can't keep same Hive power concept in near future once the delisting happens. Instead you just shift delegations.

Now another concept where say you earn minimum 10 USD you should be able to convert Hive into the SATS and that should happen easily if we have the bridge within the wallet. Something which would not take much effort for the users. This way there is a chance to get redemption for Hive.

It's all fictional but just thinking out loud and knowing the option helps.
