For some time my partner Elieska and I have been thinking about the idea of including more services in our ConVinArte event.
There is a trend to include art activities in the celebrations and that's why we wanted to give it some publicity to promote it.
Elieska was presented with the opportunity because she knew a girl who was getting married and it was the perfect moment to take advantage of it. He offered her as a gift a painting for her wedding and the bride was very grateful for the gesture and even offered her an invitation for both of them to the party.
The day arrived and I had nothing prepared. We wanted to have a large canvas made but we didn't have the resources, so we took two from the inventory we had and the idea was to make each of the bride and groom in one.
That way the wedding guests could put their handprint on them depending on whose side they were going to the celebration on.
They sent me a picture almost at noon yesterday and with that I got the silhouette of them. Then I transferred it to the canvases. I removed the loose threads beforehand and painted them with a cream base to make them look better.
Then I made the design in pencil and finally with a fine brush I applied black paint along all the lines. The result was simple because of the time we had but I knew that with people's footprints it would look good.
I could not attend the celebration, but Elieska was passing me pictures of the process and this is how the picture was looking. In her blog she will tell you a little more about the whole experience of that day.

Desde hace un tiempo entre mi compaΓ±era Elieska y yo venimos pensando la idea de incluir mΓ‘s servicios dentro de lo que es nuestro evento ConVinArte.
Hay algo en tendencia que es incluir actividades de arte en las celebraciones y por eso quisimos darle de alguna forma publicidad para poder promocionarlo.
A Elieska se le presentΓ³ la oportunidad porque conocΓa una chica que se iba a casar y era el momento perfecto para aprovechar. Le ofreciΓ³ como obsequio el regalarle un cuadro para su boda y la novia muy agradecida con el gesto le ofreciΓ³ hasta una invitaciΓ³n para ambas a la fiesta.
LlegΓ³ el dΓa y yo no tenΓa nada preparado. QuerΓamos mandar a hacer un lienzo grande pero no tenΓamos los recursos, asΓ que tomamos dos del inventario que tenΓamos y la idea era hacer a cada uno de los novios en uno.
AsΓ los invitados de la boda podrΓan poner su huella en ellos dependiendo de por parte de quiΓ©n iban a la celebraciΓ³n.
Me enviaron una foto casi al medio dΓa del ayer y con eso obtuve la silueta de ellos. Luego la pasΓ© a los lienzos. A estos les estuve quitando los hilos sueltos previamente y pintando con una base color crema psra que luciera mejor.
Luego iba el diseΓ±o a lΓ‘piz y finalmente con un pincel fino apliquΓ© pintura negra por todas las lΓneas. El resultado fue sencillo por el tiempo que tenΓamos pero sabΓa que con las huellas de las personas quedarΓa bien.
A la celebraciΓ³n no pude asistir, pero Elieska me estuvo pasando fotos del proceso y asΓ iba quedando el cuadro. Ya ella en su blog les contarΓ‘ un poco mΓ‘s aplicada toda la experiencia de ese dΓa.
Por mi parte cumplΓ con la parte creativa y todo obtuvo muy buenos resultados. βΊοΈβ¨
