¡Hola Chicos!
Desde que comenzamos a hacer los eventos Convinarte, hemos buscado aliarnos con varios restaurantes de la ciudad de Cabimas para darnos a conocer y al mismo tiempo, facilitar un poco las cosas a la hora de organizarlo.
En el mes de abril estuvimos visitando dos restaurantes, hablamos con los encargados y llegamos a un acuerdo para poder hacer un evento en sus instalaciones.
El primero se llevó a cabo el 28 de abril en un restaurant llamado la terraza, (que por cierto les debo ese post 😅 jaja). El otro tuvimos que aplazarlo un poco por diversos motivos, pero ya por fin esta semana será nuestro evento en el restaurant Global Café.
Se pospuso unas dos veces y la verdad luego de tanto tropiezo ya no teníamos ánimos de hacerlo, pero como ya dimos nuestra palabra nos tocó asumir el compromiso y montarnos en todo lo de la organización.

Since we started doing Convinarte events, we have sought to partner with several restaurants in the city of Cabimas to make ourselves known and at the same time, make things a little easier when it comes to organizing it.
In the month of April we visited two restaurants, we talked to the people in charge and we reached an agreement to hold an event in their facilities.
The first one took place on April 28th in a restaurant called la terraza, (which by the way I owe them that post 😅 haha). The other one we had to postpone it a little bit for different reasons, but finally this week will be our event at the Global Café restaurant.
It was postponed twice and the truth is that after so many setbacks we didn't feel like doing it, but since we gave our word we had to assume the commitment and get involved in all the organization.
Como en todo evento hay que darle promoción, así que nos pusimos de acuerdo un día para ir a las instalaciones de donde sería el evento para hacer algunas fotos y videos para promocionar por nuestras redes.
Fuimos a eso de las 4 de la tarde, que es cuando ellos abren sus puertas al público. En el sitio no habían nadie, solo los encargados y empleados, algo que lo hacía perfecto para poder grabar con calma.
As in every event we have to promote it, so we agreed on a day to go to the facilities where the event would be held to take some pictures and videos to promote it through our networks.
We went at about 4 pm, which is when they open their doors to the public. There was no one on the site, only the managers and employees, which made it perfect to be able to record calmly.
Nos ubicamos en la mesa que estaba hasta el fondo y comenzamos a sacar todas las cosas para armar el set.
Colocamos lienzos, caballetes, pinturas y todo para simular que íbamos a llevar a cabo la actividad.
Como no teníamos modelo, me tocó esta vez a mi ser la protagonista del video. Detrás de cámara estaba Elieska haciendo todo el trabajo creativo.
We sat at the table that was at the back and began to take out all the things to set up the set.
We set up canvases, easels, paints and everything to simulate that we were going to carry out the activity.
Since we didn't have a model, this time it was my turn to be the protagonist of the video. Behind the camera was Elieska doing all the creative work.
Elieska compró unos jugos para hacer complemento para la sesión de fotos y videos. Al mismo tiempo nosotras íbamos disfrutando de ellos para pasar el rato.
Hicimos varias tomas como la parte de dibujar el boceto, luego abrir las pinturas y así comencé a darle forma al cuadro.
Elieska bought some juices to complement the photo and video session. At the same time we were enjoying them to pass the time.
We did several shots such as drawing the sketch, then opening the paints and so I began to shape the painting.
No teníamos tiempo como para hacer una gran obra, así que se me ocurrió pintar una gran carita feliz. Algo que sería sencillo de tapar luego y poder utilizar nuevamente el cuadro para otra pintura.
La verdad es que quedó bastante bonita y funcionaba con la idea del video, pues no era necesario mostrar una gran obra sino demostrar que la actividad iba a ser súper entretenida.
We didn't have time to do a big painting, so I came up with the idea of painting a big happy face. Something that would be easy to cover later and be able to use the painting again for another painting.
The truth is that it was quite pretty and it worked with the idea of the video, since it was not necessary to show a great work but to demonstrate that the activity was going to be super entertaining.
Luego tuvimos un momento de caos porque el teléfono que estábamos usando se quedó sin memoria, cosa que nos impidió continuar grabando.
Aprovechamos de hacer un video en vivo en nuestra cuenta de Instagram y ya luego desistimos de la idea de continuar porque ya era súper tarde y nos tocaba hacer un largo recorrido hasta la avenida para tomar el transporte público.
Then we had a moment of chaos because the phone we were using ran out of memory, which prevented us from continuing recording.
We took the opportunity to make a live video on our Instagram account and then we gave up the idea of continuing because it was already super late and we had to make a long walk to the avenue to take public transportation.
Así que recogimos todo. Yo fui hasta el bañó para botar el agua con pintura y lavar el pincel y ya así emprendimos el camino a casa.
So we picked up everything. I went to the bathroom to throw away the water with paint and wash the brush and then we started our way home.
Nos fue súper bien, logramos captar mucho material a pesar del percance con la memoria.
Se logró un video bastante bonito y bueno ahora solo restaba volver otro día, pues planificamos reunirnos con una locutora de una estación de radio reconocida en la ciudad para grabar unos videos promocionales.

It went super well, we managed to capture a lot of material despite the memory mishap.
We managed to get a pretty nice video and now all that was left was to come back another day, as we were planning to meet with an announcer from a well known radio station in the city to record some promotional videos.
This is a long story that I will be sharing with you in another post. For now, I bid you farewell. ♥
